WHAT'S UNDER THE EV HOOD?

Has the trucking industry finally found its very own white knight? And, is it electric trucks? Although electric trucks have a higher price tag than their diesel counterparts, the return on investment is high. With a battery-powered engine, fewer moving parts, and essentially zero fuel — electric truck adopters are not only decreasing their emission levels but saving on maintenance and fuel costs. As the EV pros continue to outweigh the cons, it's time for the trucking industry to brace itself for a high-voltage transformation. In this episode, Steve Slesinski, director of global product planning for Dana Incorporated, and Trent Broberg, CEO of the vehicle transport firm, Acertus pop the EV hood and reveal new, easier ways to repair, prepare, and invest in electric trucks. Tune in.
